This was such a fun lesson. We drew observational drawings of fruit and some veggies in bowls.
The children used water colour paint to paint one fruit in.
They were encouraged to find the shadow and fill that in too. Shadow gives the illusion of weight in a picture.
These are just wondeful!!
We painted the backgrouns in one colour too.
Frit and vegetables are always interesting subject matter and children find the organic shape fun to work with and explore. Well done!!!
Some children drew fruit in a bag. This was interesting and tricky. Making a plastic bag look plastic is a problem worth solving.
