Just delightful!!
This is a blog about kids and art. We have enormous fun in our classes. We learn along the journey with art... we learn about art and what it is and we explore those artisits who have gone before us. I work from the premise that ALL people can learn how to draw. I hope you feel inspired by some of these ideas just as you have inspired us in some of the projects we have taken on.

If the shoe fits...
Getting younger aged children to 'draw big' is always a challenge. These shoe drawings and then paintings were a great success. We painted them in warm and cold colours.
"Madiba, would you like a new shirt?"
We has enormous fun drawing the shirt first and then printing in a design.
Bold and colourful. it was a good lesson in making the size of the pattern fit the shape. This took some problem solving along the way.
Look at this carefully drawn collar.
Wow - almost a coat. I like this look.
