To catch a dream

 This was a lesson using observation , story and imagination. 

 We looked at dream catchers.

 We heard the legend of the dream catcher.

 We drew and shaped our dream catchers.



Interestingly, this was a lesson wheich depended on the children drawing from memory and from being inspired by the legend. The children all did very well. I do find though that some struggle to use basic imaginary ideas like filling the space with their own web pattern. Helping them with the language of art alwasy gets the art juices flowing:)

Feeling art

 This was a great art lesson where we joined the artistic and the real together. The children responded to this really well and got"stuck in" .

I love the drawings of the rhino and the sharing of the ideas around how we could save them!!
