Modern art comes alive in the hands of the young!

Today

was a time like no other!

The children each used their eyes and hands 

to create and fashion. 

A simple object was created.

switching on their'eyes'

again.

Then they began to tear and rip and stick and paint

as they did this the background came alive.

Living and breathing they finished it all with the final

glue and press.

Madiba Magic in the art room

 This holiday art project. Draw a good likeness of Nelson Mandela using pencil and then ink. The children had photographs to work from.

 Then each child could design their very own Madiba shirt. Using bold colours they worked the shirts in.

 The back ground was painted to bring the whole picture to life. I love these. They are extrodinary.
