This week was the beginning f our fourth and final term of this year.
One thing I have discovered is that children do not necessarily know much about famous artists from history and indeed nothing really about famous South African artists.
We began the term by looking at Van Gogh.
We learnt a little about how to recognize his work and then set about drawing and then painting our own sunflowers.
These are bright and colourful works .
I love that these children each paint
in their own style and each work is unique .
