Homeschool art -Who is Giorgio Morandi?

Giorgio Morandi was an Italian artist born in 1890 and died in 1962. His work is beautiful, calming and delightful to enjoy. 

The children listened to the story of Giorgio and then retold it through writing or drae=wing about his life and work. 

He painted an extrodinary amaount of still life works.  We then created our own objects for the still life.

Drawing it first in line with pencil - we then set about enjoying some colour mixing and painting. One object at a time.
